The unique lightweight, rust-resistant construction of the Crisfloat guarantees a long-service life. The Crisfloat Polyfloats’ unique one-piece shell is manufactured from Polyethylene which is one of the most exciting, technically-advanced products available, producing a spacious, tough, non-rust, non-rot, rattle-free, horse float. Polyethylene also has the ability to let in plenty of light making the Crisfloat light and airy. This material is UV stabilised, and has a proven track record of more than twenty years, without showing any degradation in full sunlight. No fibres are used in the polyethylene, thus no irritation can occur in the horses rump by having the glass splinter build-up sometimes found in fibreglass floats.

The chassis, steel parts and floor are hot-dipped galvanised steel, recognised as one of the few economical and viable rust protectors.

The floor and ramp are covered with a specially developed spray/pour-on non-slip rubber compound, (based on the rubber compound used for tartan athletic tracks) which is strong, rot-proof and easy on hooves.

The streamlined-aerodynamic design, perfect balance, low centre of gravity and electric brake system, ensures our Polyfloats are easy and safe to tow.

Regarded as the ultimate in horse transportation, Crisfloats’ standard float caters for the large horse, as well as catering for smaller ponies.

Where necessary, all interior dividers and steel supports have been padded.

The spare wheel of the Crisfloat has been placed on the side of the float to allow for a more room on the inside.
